Tammy McGinnis-Wanner received a Bachelor’s in Biology/Animal Behavior and has over 25 years of experience working at NKI. She has developed methodological and technical skills in the areas of behavioral training, healthcare, and physiology. Through excellent communication skills, she also maintains and nurtures ongoing relationships with a variety of vendors, while controlling costs, in order to facilitate successful experimentation and medical care for the non-human primates in the lab. Tammy’s expertise contributes to primate neuroscience experimentation and data collection, helping to drive NKI’s research forward.

Tammy’s experience and exceptional organizational skills make her an invaluable asset in managing the daily operations of the lab. She is committed to leveraging her skills to support the diverse needs of TNL’s research teams and is enthusiastic about continuing her work in advancing the Institute’s scientific objectives.
