Dr. Carrie Masia received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1998 followed by an NIMH postdoctoral research fellowship at Columbia University, Department of Child Psychiatry. She is currently a Research Scientist at NKI, a Professor of Psychology at Montclair State University, and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Masia is an expert in the implementation of interventions for anxiety in children and adolescents in community settings. With community partners, Dr. Masia has systematically developed and conducted several NIH-funded clinical trials evaluating treatments for anxiety disorders in schools and pediatric medical settings.
